Are the parts still soft after 2+ years?<br /><br />I had disappointing results with Xylene &amp; Methyl Salicylate. I did a similar procedure about 3.5-years ago, but with xylene and methyl salicylate. These boots have since become hard as a rock, much harder than they were before I &#39;softened&#39; them.
