I did a similar procedure about 3.5-years ago, but with xylene and methyl salicylate. These boots have since become hard as a rock, much harder than they were before I &amp;#39;softened&amp;#39; them. Wondering if I should try again with the alcohol instead of the xylene.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Gary</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='https://www.blogger.com/feeds/5415584649217620448/2738376106030528974/comments/default/7490401741836708652'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='https://www.blogger.com/feeds/5415584649217620448/2738376106030528974/comments/default/7490401741836708652'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='https://ct90restoration.blogspot.com/2018/02/a-way-to-softening-up-old-rubber-ct90.html?showComment=1594217026327#c7490401741836708652' title=''/><author><name>Gary</name><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='https://img1.blogblog.com/img/blank.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='https://ct90restoration.blogspot.com/2018/02/a-way-to-softening-up-old-rubber-ct90.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5415584649217620448.post-2738376106030528974' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5415584649217620448/posts/default/2738376106030528974' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty name="blogger.itemClass" value="pid-1253499649"/><gd:extendedProperty name="blogger.displayTime" value="July 8, 2020 at 7:03 AM"/></entry></feed>
